Reference Photos

Your reference photos guide the portrait. What you send is what I work from. Clear photos help me capture your pet perfectly. Send me your absolute favorite photo!

If possible, take the photo in natural lighting from the pet’s eye level. Make sure to avoid harsh shadows, such as shaded areas or dark rooms. Be certain to include the chest and face if you can.

Multiple Pets

Want more than one pet in your painting? No problem!

I can combine reference photos to include multiple pets in a single piece, even if they aren’t in the same photo. Because adding extra pets significantly increases the time and detail involved, an additional pet fee applies for each size:

• 5"×7": +$100 per additional pet

• 8"×10": +$200 per additional pet

• 11"×14": +$300 per additional pet

Backgrounds

Simple, single-color backgrounds are included with every portrait. White backgrounds are also available, along with my signature splatter style.

More detailed or custom backgrounds (such as patterns, settings, or landscapes) are also available for an additional fee, depending on complexity and time.

Shipping and Disclaimers

  • Shipping is a flat $20 within the U.S. This includes careful packaging, tracking, and insurance to make sure your original painting arrives safely. In the rare event a package is lost or damaged, I will assist with the insurance claim process.

  • I strive to capture your pet’s likeness as accurately as possible, but each portrait is created in my personal artistic style.

    Because this is original artwork, the final piece may not be an exact photographic replica.

    By commissioning me, you acknowledge and agree to my style and artistic interpretation.

  • I may share finished pieces (and previews) on my website or social media unless you request otherwise ahead of time.
